Pictures which told their stories and expressed their concerns. « The weaving of carpets is a study which was passed on of generation in generation. The mother and all other women members of the family detained this knowledge and had to teach it to their daughters. The conservation of carpets played made for a long time by leaning on the inheritance this knowledge. The skill in the weaving is even one of the criteria .

At the same time, the women weavers get organized well to leave free lesson in their imagination. « If the morning was dedicated to domestic jobs and to different tasks which the woman had to assure in the country world. The afternoon and leisure constituted the opportune instants to devote itself to the weaving. There were women who got organized to work in group while discussing. Other women preferred working at them and every only ones or accompanied with their daughters; The instant of the weaving was also an instant of escape for the women. They avoided their dailies so by meeting to weave, discuss and bloom », it goes on.the weaving is only one of the stages of the ready-to-wear clothes of the carpet. The preparation of wool remains a primordial stage to make a carpet. « The women also cut fleeces of the sheep and prepared wool in irrigation channels. They drain, brush and separate wool by transforming it into son. « The women rinsed and tinted the wool sons with liquids extracted from the seasonal plants of the region. And since then, they begin making their carpets ». Let us note that they differentiate two wool types.A wool called living and extracted from a still living sheep and a dead wool extracted from some fleeces of a cut the throat sheep; And it is the carpet made from a living wool which resides of quality. Certainly, this type of carpet almost disappeared because of successive dryness. That’s why, living wool was replaced with that of the sacrificed sheep or that some industrialized wool. tapis de taznakht
